Web Developer

We are now looking for a Web Developer to join us in either London, Cologne or Bonn to strengthen and support our global Digital Marketing and Web team, which is part of our global Marketing team.
The role and its impact:
Simon-Kucher’s corporate website is the hub for our online marketing activities and is being constantly further developed for better user experience. Our new Web Developer will support the team’s efforts to extend our website strategy, continue to improve the UX/UI significantly, and improve website traffic and performance.
Working alongside Web Developers in Toronto and Cologne, continuously improve and adapt our website to evolving requirements (e.g. adding new page templates, changing structure and configuration of existing templates, adding new design features and functionalities)
Maintain and develop our multi-lingual site for better user experience and navigation
Conduct testing and troubleshooting
Support with creation of Custom HTML email templates
Work with colleagues to implement new features to improve website performance
We have adopted hybrid working, and you can expect to mix your work location between our London office and the option to home work for an element of your time.
What you bring:
3+ years of Drupal programming experience
Experience with integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems
Experience with Drupal configurations and troubleshooting with LAMP
Experience with using GIT with development
Programming skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript
Results-oriented, reliable, able to work under pressure
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience with global and multi-lingual websites
Experience with working with geographically spread teams
Meticulous attention to detail and skill in adhering to highest quality assurance standards
