The Analyst: Employee Communications will drive development and execution of internal content and communications across Vail Resorts. This person will be a high-output, high-quality content creator; a methodical, organized, and take-charge project manager; and a strong collaborator who can partner with people at all levels of the organization to design communication solutions to fit their needs.
Reporting to the Senior Manager: Change & Communications Strategy, this role will develop and execute internal communications to engage employees across all levels of the enterprise, as well as manage our suite of internal content tools.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, execute and send newsletters, strategic communications, change management communications, and other internal messages
Build and send internal emails and maintain distribution lists using email marketing software
Apply consistent look, feel and tone for all communications and standardize processes across the organization
Create and edit content that is clear, accurate and engaging and aligns with our internal brand and culture
Maintain up-to-date communications calendar and support the development and delivery of our content and channel strategy
Partner with HR and other functional teams to build and execute communications plans in support of enterprise programs
Monitor the effectiveness of communications strategies through data reporting and analysis and drive continuous improvement
Manage content for employee digital platform/mobile app
Job Qualifications:
Required:
BA/BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or other relevant field of study
1-2 years of communications experience
Content Management System (e.g. WordPress or other), Microsoft Office Suite
English fluency
AP Style expertise
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Works independently, takes initiative and has the desire to achieve
Learns quickly and is inquisitive
Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization
Ability to be nimble in a fast-paced environment and meet challenges with a positive attitude
Preferred:
Impeccable written, verbal and visual communication skills
The budgeted range starts at $56,000 – $67,400. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
