You will lead a team of Field Delivery Leads in ensuring the engineering workforce deliver a safe, compliant installation and maintenance of gas and electricity meters.This is to cover MPAN 12 & 19 – Greater London area.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure ALL Health & Safety and Environmental Regulations and company targets are achieved, promoting a high level of Health Safety and Environmental Management throughout the business.Drive productivity across the field and back-office workforce to maximise efficiency and meet all company targets including managing guaranteed standards of service (GSOS) and reporting of performance information as required.Manage your assigned operational area as a standalone business unit which adheres to regulatory and contractual requirements, whilst ensuring financial viability.Work closely with the planning team to ensure engineer job capacity and utilisation is monitored and levels are correctly set.Understand client targets / expectations and ensure your operational team deliver these requirements.Responsible for correctly approving timesheets and managing attendance including return to work process.Maintain correct level of resource to achieve relevant targets.In tandem with the Recruitment team – supporting the recruitment of engineers where required, including completion of the authorisation to recruit processEnd to end management of the onboarding process with HR to ensure new employee inductions are completed in line with company policy, in a cost-effective manner.Complete the necessary paperwork for new starters, employment changes and leavers processes (including conducting exit meetings).Conduct regular performance reviews, including managing the performance of your reportsCarry out the disciplinary process in accordance with company policy where appropriate, with guidance from HR.Ultimately responsible for overseeing (via FDL’s): the approval of timesheets (via FDL’s), managing attendance including return to work meetings for all absences, and the Cezanne system is updated in a timely manner (to limit payroll and HR queries each month)Responsible for conducting absence review meetings for trigger points (e.g. 3rd absence in 52 weeks)Work in tandem with the Compliance team to review incident and audit data, identifying non-conformance trends, and ensure the necessary actions are implemented to improve working practices, safety and reduce risk.Analyse general job completion, abort and Technical Helpdesk data to minimise job failure and improve efficient completion of works.Support the development of continuous training programs for progression of your direct reports.Work with the Compliance and HR teams to ensure all training is maintained and kept up to date.Resolve client and customer issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.Engage with & support internal departments and external service providers to ensure any agreed actions are executed successfully.Build relationships with clients and internal departments to drive continuous improvement.Responsible for the effective delivery of team briefings and company initiativesProvide accurate updates to the Regional Operations Manager on field performance and compliance.Attend client meetings as required to discuss operational area performance.Any other duties as required.EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/MEMBERSHIPS –Driving Licence (a current UK driving licence, or equivalent which enables driving in the UK)SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEPrevious experience of managing teamsLeadership, performance and people management experienceCommercial
