By leveraging our current behavioral healthcare infrastructure along with our dedicated team, ABA Centers of America will be a leading provider of best-in-class ABA therapy to Persons with Autism all over the United States.Your Position: Registered Behavior Technicians are responsible for administering evidence-based therapies directly to clients. This will always be under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT’s role is responsible for each individual session’s success including: set-up, delivery of session, data collection, and break-down.Responsibilities and Qualifications: Must have the ability to apply for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential and pass the required examination within 90 days of employment.Adhere to Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) code of Ethics. http://bacb.com/ethics/.Attend trainings and maintain effective knowledge of identified qualifications/competencies.Assimilating and carrying out direction from supervising behavior analyst for therapy and data collection.Providing effective behavior evidence-based treatments.Collecting unbiased and accurate data during therapy sessions.Proactively communicating with supervising behavior analyst for questions and feedback.Maintaining reliable transportation, a driver’s license, and car insurance.Ability to work in a team and to share responsibilities and duties.Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict in a straightforward and timely manner.Ability to set priorities, be organized, and be a self-starter.Ability to be friendly, empathetic, and an adept communicator.Ability to treat both staff and clients with respect.Ability to communicate with clients and their families.Locations: client home-based, community-based, some center-basedABA Centers of America CultureABA Centers of America is a supercharged environment propelled by collaboration through our philosophy: “Empowering Your Ambition.” The expectation for each team member is to provide a highly supportive high-performance work environment. Team members are expected to keep work and common break spaces tidy and to adhere to infection control protocols and policies.Team members are expected to adhere to facility safety requirements, report unsafe practices or equipment, and, if applicable, use the appropriate protective equipment as needed.Depending on role, and during the daily course of duties, team members may have to lift, twist, pull or push.
