The Piebald Inn is a concept restaurant and hotel where our heart stems from a core menu that boasts 52 varieties of delicious in house made pies.Known far and wide for our highly acclaimed pie menu, hotel and ever increasing motor home stays we need someone who has experience in hospitality, an inviting personality and a pleasant can do attitude who can hit the ground running.This is a really varied role, with duties and responsibilities that involves all aspects of customer service in a busy restaurant, hotel and bar where a drive for excellent service and standards is paramount.The ideal candidate will have fantastic knowledge of our menu, understand our customers and deliver an amazing Piebald Inn experience every time.Ideally at least 2 year experience in hospitality is preferred.This is a full –time permanent position with a future that includes remuneration benefits where dedication, passion and an interest to grow with the business shines through.Qualifications: · Proven experience in hospitality.· Excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills· Experience with online till systems, card payment machines and General IT knowledge.· High standard of customer service.· Impeccable timekeeping management.Personal attributes: · Hardworking· Flexible· Reliable· Punctual· Trustworthy· Well Presented· Good Work Ethic· Team Player· Initiative· Willingness to learn· Knowledgeable of Safety / Hygiene issues· OrganisedGeneral Duties: · Greeting and seating customers.· Taking orders via our online till system.· Serving food and waiting on tables.· Making and serving beverages which include hot drinks, alcoholic drinks and soft drinks etc.· Handling cash and using card machines.· Cleaning and resetting tables in both restaurant and bar area.· Cleaning and general upkeep in all public areas inside and out.· Bar stock rotation, cellar and beer maintenance.· Registering and checking hotel guests into rooms. · Follow company standards at all times.· Opening and closing responsibilities.· Handle payments & float on a daily basis including money balancing & stored safely as part of opening/closing duties.· Assistance in our kitchen when required.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From £9.50 per hourAdditional pay:TipsBenefits:On-site parkingSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityExperience:Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)Reference ID: Indeed/FOH
