Description : Buying and E-commerce Administrator Time & Tide is a contemporary interiors retailer with seven stores in four locations across central Scotland. We sell beautifully co-ordinated and stylish furniture, lighting, artwork, mirrors and interior accessories. We have an online presence that has grown significantly in the last year and we now plan to grow much further.We are looking for a highly creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team, who will provide critical administrative support to the Buyer. They will be a highly important team member, who will gain excellent experience related to Product Buying and E-Commerce.This position is full time, working hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm. This will involve both home working, and office based work at our Glasgow Office (St Georges Cross).Key Duties: Ensuring the department runs smoothly by: keeping range plans up to date, creating purchase orders in a timely manner, setting up new product on stock system, and actioning price changes.Responsible for updating product information, including: pricing and creating effective and highly commercial product copyEffective communication with suppliers, stores and internal departmentsAlongside the Buyer, ensures that website product ranges provide maximum commerciality and drive salesAnalysis of Store and Website sales – regularly running & analysing reports and feeding back to Buyer on bestsellersAssisting in the management of stock levels, to ensure stock availability of best sellers and the website rangeReviewing web analytics and online sales data to improve rankings and drive better performance. Regular distribution of analytical data to the wider team, with recommendations on areas of improvement to Marketing & BuyingCarrying out regular competitor analysis, and presenting findings to the team.Answering product related queries from customers – for both email and social media enquiriesHands on ability to help with any other tasks in a small retail buying officeSkills & Experience: Excellent communication skills, both verbally and writtenProficient at Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.Capable of working well both in a team and individuallyExperience in working with Magento websites or similar E-Commerce platforms – Preferred but Not EssentialPassionate about interiors, fashion and current market trendsHigh levels of commercial awareness, creativity, attention to detail and organisationPrior experience working in Administration, E-Commerce, or Buying office – Preferred but Not EssentialPlease note – applications without a cover letter will not be considered.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per yearBenefits:Employee discountWork from homeSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayApplication deadline: 27/02/2022Expected start date: 07/03/2022
