Description : Meta is looking for a seasoned Content Strategy Leader to help ensure an innovative and cohesive editorial approach for the Meta company social media team.They will be responsible for working across the social team to ensure all efforts seamlessly integrate to build our company brand in the eyes of our global community. The Content Strategist will work cross-functionally to develop unique story ideas, drive ideation for original content, and develop thoughtful distribution strategies. This position will work closely with programming, product, research, analytics, and marketing teams to identify content inventory of various format types and distribute and promote content effectively. They will focus on delivering successful campaign strategies for branded content both on and off platform and building visibility for our initiatives.The ideal individual for this role is passionate about the future of technology and has a strong background in building brands through content. This person will also be expert at relationship building: open, tenacious, curious, and a champion for this program of work. Previous experience should include social marketing and multi-channel communications planning and using data to identify insights and build compelling content strategies.
Develop and lead editorial strategy and planning for the company brand in partnership with internal creative teams, communications, outside agencies, and cross-functional partners.
Partner with Marketing Managers to develop and manage world-class content that is culturally relevant and social-first.
Leverage technology industry news to inform overall editorial approach.
Lead the story planning and selection process for a comprehensive social editorial program.
Support the development of and promotion of a robust measurement plan to ensure that the content strategy is evaluated correctly and demonstrates business impact.
Become a champion of the Facebook company social community, making sure our content reflects the values and needs of our audiences.
Support go-to-market planning for branded content releases – communicating strategy and goals, contribute to quantitative analysis, suggesting technical solutions, and designing new processes to optimize outcomes.
Assist in development and reporting of content KPIs for Company Social Marketing.
Develop and execute strategies for better discovery and awareness of on-platform and off-platform branded content programming.
10+ years of experience as a content marketer or editor working for a well known brand or publisher creating compelling stories and social content.
5+ years experience managing comprehensive content and editorial calendars and programs.
Proven record of mentoring and leading diverse teams.
Early adopter of emerging technologies like AR/VR and interest for staying abreast of industry trends.
Experience and knowledge of social platforms and products.
Experience using quantitative & qualitative data to inform, measure, and iterate on content.
A conceptual thinker who has created breakthrough social content in the past that evolves a brand to reach their target audience.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally, influencing and building consensus among multiple stakeholders.
Understanding of branded content partners, creators/influencers and the overall media landscape.
Strategy, planning and presentation experience with expertise in clarifying and summarizing key issues.
