Job Description & Summary

The key responsibilities may involve some or all the areas listed below:
12+ years of experience in Data Modeling and responsible for the development of the conceptual, logical, and physical data models, the implementation of RDBMS, operational data store (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on target platforms (SQL/NoSQL).
Implement business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL) and data tools (reporting, visualization).
Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions.
Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.
Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.
Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts.
Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.
Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.
Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
Identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualization.
Work with business and solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models
Good understanding of healthcare business in the payer/provider space
Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.
Well versed in Data Modeling tools like ER/Studio, Erwin Data Modeler, Data Vault, Toad Data Modeler etc.,
Hands on experience of working in the Cloud technologies – AWS/Azure/GCP
End to end data and analytics solutions design experience using cloud technologies- AWS S3, Spark, EMR, Data bricks, MPP databases, Redshift/Snowflake right from Ingestion to Transformation to Consumption using various methods including API delivery
Strong skills in SQL, SQL Procedure builds
Strong skills in analyzing Data Warehouse performance issues and resolutions using various methods/ techniques
Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts and software
Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills
MUST HAVE
Strong Data modeling skills utilizing one of the industry leading tools like ER/Studio, Erwin Data Modeler, Oracle SQL Developer etc.
Strong knowledge and experience in SQL and SQL procedures for data analysis, extraction and manipulation
Knowledge of Healthcare business cycle, terminologies and implications of data modeling decisions in the payer and provider space, and experience of building out data models for payers or providers
Strong experience in Database SQL tuning and performance improvement
Experience with multiple relational databases platforms like Oracle, Exadata, MS SQL Server
Hands on experience of working in the Cloud technologies – AWS/Azure/GCP

Technical Requirements
Education: E./B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS)
GOOD TO HAVE
Exposure to Data integration tools like Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Informatica etc.
Exposure to Business Intelligence/ Reporting platforms like OBIEE, MicroStrategy, Business Objects etc.
Exposure to Data Visualization/ Dashboarding tools like Tableau, Qlik etc.
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle cloud offerings is a plus
Fair understanding of the Agile development process
