The Educational Psychologist is expected to:
Use a variety of psychoeducational assessment methods/tests appropriate for screening purposes to investigate the learning profile of students identified as not making expected learning progress.
To support the admissions process by reviewing applications, interviewing student applicants and making recommendations
Providing screening assessments for individual students to determine their relative strengths and weaknesses as learners and determine what interventions need to be put in place to ensure their success as learners
Use all available data to generate learning questions related to students or groups of students not achieving learning expectations.
Provide the Heads of Sections with the information they need to implement appropriate action to support students to be successful learners.
Support the admissions process by reviewing application documents for students.
