Job Description
As a Field Marketing Manager, you are responsible for supporting the EMEA marketing and sales team in developing and managing field-based demand generation programs to build awareness, drive, and nurture leads, and accelerate net new logo opportunities to close.
Your data-driven mindset alongside your deep understanding of the region will enable you to take our comprehensive, multi-channel marketing campaigns to market. This position will collaborate closely with our sales, sales development, and cross-functional regional and global marketing teams to plan and execute activities.
You will enjoy analysis and deriving business insights from data to make smart decisions. We operate in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment, so your outstanding communication skills and ability to adapt to change will be required!
What you will do:
Align corporate goals and local priorities to agree quarterly regional marketing objectives for demand generation
Drive demand generation strategy and implementation to deliver pipeline coverage for sales organization, in collaboration with other marketing teams such as product marketing and demand generation
Create, manage and execute in-person and virtual events for EMEA
Collaborate internally and with approved agencies for content localization and to ensure brand and editorial guidelines are adhered to for quality and consistency
Make informed recommendations to the business and lead change to take advantage of opportunities, overcome challenges and deliver return on investments
Research, select and negotiate external vendor services. Managing external partners and agencies as extended team, setting the same high standards for planning, execution and deliverables
Manage budget and marketing plans
Your experience should include:
3-5 marketing experience in IT / Software / Tech industry
Data-driven mindset, you have a grasp on crucial marketing KPIs and how to optimize your campaigns to drive performance
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
Fluency in English, other European languages a big advantage, ideally French and/or German
Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, ability to take initiative, attention to detail, organizational and planning skills
Success in managing field marketing programs and building successful relationships within large enterprise sales organizations to drive business in new and existing customer accounts
Passion for Open Source with ability to engage developers and enterprises alike
Collaboration is key to success – experience working with partners and the ecosystem is crucial
Versed in CRM tools such as, Salesforce, Marketo as well as other office productivity and collaboration tools
Ability to travel (when required / permitted)
