Global Active Womenswear Designer, designing and developing high quality, innovative product across the Activewear Space. Must have experience within the commercial fashion environment, and comprehensive knowledge of the product lifecycle, from initial concept through to market. Our ideal new team member is fashion forward with a passion for sustainability, understands the importance of the consumer experience and is highly organised with ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities. They are a strategic thinker able to problem solve and has a can-do attitude
Key job responsibilities
Under the direction of a Design Manager, the Global Active Womenswear Designer will help to develop and execute a design strategy to grow Amazons Private Brands Active product offer.
Key responsibilities include-
A clear understanding of the local aesthetic and culture when creating a global product offer.
Communicates findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner in written and oral presentation forms
Provide strong and consistent product direction and handwriting.
Drive the design critical path in line with PD, marketing and production.
Builds partners internally across functions, working across all disciplines as an active team player
Collaborative Negotiator: you can negotiate in tough situations with both internal and external groups, settle differences with minimum noise, and win concessions while empowering relationships.
