Job summary
Amazon’s Pharmacy Compliance team is seeking a Head of Compliance Operations responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Amazon Pharmacy compliance program, providing direction, guidance and assistance on multiple compliance initiatives including investigations, risk assessment, education and training and auditing and monitoring. This role will be innovative and maintain a high bar of compliance and operational excellence as we rapidly grow, scale, and innovate and ultimately make Amazon Pharmacy the most customer-centric pharmacy on Earth.
Key job responsibilities
Oversees developing and implementing compliance training and education programs.
Oversees developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
Develops a compliance work plan.
Identifies compliance risk areas through auditing and monitoring.
Leads annual and risk-based audit activities.
Monitors legal and regulatory developments relating to Pharmacy operations and advises applicable leadership.
Maintains current knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations, other pertinent regulations, and government enforcement initiatives.
Help drive problem resolution and compliance related remediation for all business segments across Amazon Pharmacy

The Amazon Pharmacy Compliance team has the unique ability to see broadly across the org and make a significant impact to ensure compliance measures are implemented and communicated timely to all impacted parties, and the Compliance team is growing rapidly along with the business.
Advanced degree (PharmD, MBA, JD, etc)
Knowledgeable in the practice of pharmacy
Very strong written and verbal communication
Experience with data analytics
Demonstrated ability to deliver results
Comfortable running meetings with stakeholders
Aptitude for building strong working relationships
Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
Proven ability to manage competing priorities
