Description : One of the premier acute care hospitals in southern Oregon is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer. The CNO will play an integral role in the continued success of this well-respected medical center. The Chief Nursing Officer will work collaboratively with the hospital CEO and ensure a patient-centric view on all patient-care and nursing related matters. Moreover, the Chief Nursing Officer will support this hospital’s goal of supporting their clinical nursing staff with continued careers growth, professional development and a world-class work environment.
This 150-bed hospital received an “A” Rating from LeapFrog for Hospital Safety which showcased their achievements related to protecting patients from harm and providing a safe place to heal. In addition, the Chief Nursing Officer will be proud to work at a hospital with one of the most advanced Cancer Centers in the area that is a designated Community Hospital Comprehensive Care Program—an achievement that only 14% of hospitals earn. This medium sized acute care hospital is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Level III Trauma Center.
The nursing staff provides comprehensive patient care with a complete suite of inpatient services at their disposal. The surgical services team works through seven (7) operating rooms, the emergency department had 19 patient bays and the adult psychiatric program is highly regarded in the community.
