The Role:
Responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring human resource programmes and policies to best achieve the organisation’s objectives.
Act as a strategic partner and critical friend to the business, championing the best ways to develop organisational capability and efficiency. Champion our Employer Brand and be accountable for the Colleague experience from recruitment and through their time with the business.
Assess the adequacy of human resource management in relation to the needs of the business.
Organise and lead the work of the HR team to align to the needs of the business and the wider BNP Paribas Group but making sure that the HR strategy brings in the needs of the UK market:
Key Responsibilities:
The role has strategic and operational responsibility.
Strategic Development:
Define the HR Strategic Plan for the UK business ensuring it is consistent with the wider business plan. Ensure deployment and cascade of corporate tools and HR initiatives.
Accountability for defining and executing the entire HR strategy for the UK.
Accountable for the Colleague experience and Employer Brand.
Advise the local Executive team on the latest trends and best practices in People resource management.
Organisation and Leadership of HR Department:
Recruitment, Career Management, Training, HR Administrative Management, Compensation, HR Studies, HR Risks, People Care, HR Communication, transformational projects, key resource management
Represent HR in local governance committees including Operations Committee, Monthly Management Meeting and Customer Conduct Committee (CCC).
Skills & Attributes:
Candidates must be CIPD qualified and have operated at leadership level within a regulated industry. Experience in a UK subsidiary of an international group would be advantageous.
