Location: 600 N. Wolfe Street, Baltimore, Md 21287
Full Time (40 hours)
Rotating Shift: 6:00 am – 8:00 pm
Weekend work required (The desks operate 7 days a week/365 days a year including holidays.)
Position Summary:
Under general supervision, and following established procedures, receives visitors or patients, ascertains their needs and directs them accordingly; periodically escorts patients; answers telephone and provides general Hospital information.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Work Experience:
6 Months to 1 year experience in a similar work environment.
Knowledge of reception procedures
Interpersonal skills to communicate with groups of people from various backgrounds and experiences. Ability to read, write, and give accurate information to visitors, patients and Hospital employees. Demonstrated ability to learn floor plan of Institution, location of clinics and other areas, policies and procedures and contacts in a short period of time.
