Description : LIVE-IN BUTLER REQUIRED FOR UHNW ESTATE IN BERKSHIREWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and well-presented live-in Butler to support a UHNW family at their beautiful estate in Berkshire. Working alongside a House Manager, Chef and team of Gardeners, you will be responsible for preparing the property for the family’s arrival every weekend.Duties will include laying tables, serving dinners and providing impeccable service at small and large events. You will also be required to drive the family when needed, as well as occasionally work in the principal’s London property and abroad. This is a fast-paced environment with an energetic team of staff, thus you will need to have a “can-do” attitude and a positive demeanour.This is a live-in position, with private accommodation provided in a large split house with a living area, bedroom and bathroom on the stunning estate. Working days will be flexible, most likely Thursday – Monday, depending on the arrival of the principal and his family. There may be an occasional need for travel, around 1 to 2 times per year, no longer than 2 weeks at a time.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES· Overseeing household operations and ensuring all elements of the households are smooth running.· Ensuring properties are fully supplied, maintaining household lists and inventories· Wardrobe management, polishing silver, and care of valuables, such as antiques, art etc.· Working alongside all household staff including the other butler, housekeepers, chef, nanny and personal assistant – ensuring that all duties are being carried out appropriately and to a high standard.· Butler and table service to the principal and guests· Driving the principal and family· Assisting on shooting weekends and events· Preparing the properties appropriately for when the principal is in residence – down to ensuring details such as flowers, cosmetics and dietary supplements are in their correct places· Management of consumables· Welcoming guestsESSENTIAL CRITERIA: · Experienced as a Butler within a high net worth household· Experience driving luxury cars· Demonstrable background in setting and maintaining impeccable standards· Excellent standard of verbal and written English· Safe driver with valid UK driving licence· Full DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one· Polished, professional, and boundaried· Excellent attention to detail· Positive and can-do attitude· Experience working on shooting weekends and events highly desirable· Happy to travel with the Principal on occasion· Excellent checkable referenceIf this sounds of interest, and you meet the essential criteria, then please apply directly or get in touch to find out more.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company carSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Butler: 1 year (preferred)Reference ID: GVOB
