The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively and efficiently plan, design, lead, and execute technical solutions and improvements. You enjoy working with teams and can mentor and lead effectively. Hands-on mobile development for native mobile app design and implementation (iOS and Android), including system analysis, test driven application development, test automation, code review and application maintenance support.
Responsibilities
Ability to effectively and efficiently plan, design, lead, and execute technical solutions and improvementsProvide code quality assuranceHands-on mobile development for native mobile app design and implementation (iOS and Android), including system analysis, test driven application development, test automation, code review and application maintenance support.Keeping up-to-date on new technology, standards, protocols and tools in areas relevant to rapid changing digital environments.Write technical documentation used by the development team during programming stages.Troubleshoot debug, and fix issues in production and non-production environments.Make decisions on code architecture and designConduct regular code reviewsPromote code collaboration and engagement among the development teamEstablish standard coding guidelines and ensure they are followed by the teamEstimate time for tasks assigned to team members and set deadlines accordinglyEnsure the developers meet the pre-set deadlines regularly.
Requirements to Apply
Proficient in the languages, tools, and frameworks core to iOS and Android development, including XCode, Android Studio, Swift, Java, React Native, etc.Basic knowledge of Restful APIsExperienced in architecting high quality scalable maintainable mobile native and hybrid applications.Ability to review code to ensure coding standards are followedKnowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility and usability.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Hands on experience with e-commerce applications is an added advantage
