Description : We are looking to recruit a full-time Lecturer in Computing to support our expanding Computer Science curriculum; in particular, the development and delivery of our on-line provision.Applicants must have a good first degree in Computing, or a related technical subject, and either have a PhD in a relevant research field or be working towards one. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, with proven experience of writing, collating and submitting documents and in bringing together and coordinating teams.The successful candidate will be a team player with a cross-disciplinary but in-depth knowledge of the industry including as many of the following as possible: programming, mobile app and Web development. Some experience of artificial intelligence/machine learning is also desirable. A keenness to engage fully in the development and delivery of our dynamic portfolio of taught and online programmes and to contribute to our research and knowledge exchange agenda is essential.The role is varied and challenging so you will need to be a highly self-motivated individual, who is able to work flexibly and to tight deadlines, both autonomously and as part of a team.
