Description : ActiveCampaign is seeking a highly-motivated, organized individual to assist its growing legal team. The successful candidate will report to the company’s VP of Legal and work closely with stakeholders across the organization. This is a role that will support all aspects of the legal team and its workflow, from contractual and corporate governance matters, to adversarial proceedings. You must be able to adapt to changing priorities and business needs, be a self-starter, and must be proactive in identifying areas of need and generating action plans.
What your day could consist of:
Assist the legal and procurement teams to manage contractual workflows
Facilitate and keep up-to-date contract status in the Company’s contract management software
Coordinate and communicate workflow status with stakeholders in other departments
Facilitate, implement, and iterate upon legal department policies and procedures to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the legal team
What is needed:
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years experience with legal project management in-house or at a law firm
Must have excellent organizational and project management skills and be capable of tracking and completing multiple tasks in a timely manner
Must have the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while still taking the care and diligence to ensure client interests are protected
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record of working cross-functionally across departments to set objectives and produce meaningful results
Prior experience developing, implementing and improving legal department policies, practices and procedures
Prior experience with Ironclad will be viewed favorably, but is not a prerequisite
Must not be afraid to ask questions to ensure complete understanding of a variety of requests from internal stakeholders
