The Manager of Clinical Program Development is a behavioral health and clinical product expert, with a strong background in digital behavioral health solutions, including: clinical product development, coaching models of care, and program implementation and evaluation. The person in this role will manage the clinical requirements and ongoing development of our Coached Digital CBT-based product, working closely with the Product and Coaching Operations teams to build out additional protocols and products and ensuring their successful implementation alongside existing product offerings. The Manager works closely with a product manager and designer in the development of tech-enabled behavioral health interventions, focused on the integration of a successful coach and member experience. The manager also works with the broader Clinical Program Development team to ensure that all programs are appropriately adapted with AbleTo’s proprietary treatment platforms, to support the adoption and implementation of new products with the Coaching Operations team, and to maintain the clinical product in line with compliance and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll do:
Work collaboratively with the product and design team to continue to develop our coached digital CBT product, with a primary focus on the creation of evidence-based coaching protocols and structure and with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate effective communication among app-based experiences for our members.
Partner with Product Managers and Designers to prioritize and build protocols that drive member engagement, adherence, and outcomes.
Liaise with the Coaching Operations team for training in programs or workflows that are supported by the product.
Work alongside the Product Development stakeholders and promote adoption of new products and capabilities.
Stay current on external research and innovation in the behavioral health space and applicable competitive landscapes to support the product development roadmap, including coach and member facing experiences and tools.
Collaborate with the Product/Design, Coaching Operations, and Clinical Research teams to ensure that user testing and formal research results are incorporated into quality assurance efforts and the product development lifecycle.
Contribute to the development of pilot and proof of concept products, including development of innovative clinical products and data-driven workflows.
Ensure that clinical activities reflect effective best practice.
Who you are:
You are a clinical and coaching subject matter expert supporting digital product design, development, and delivery.
You have experience working as a content or clinical subject matter expert, translating clinical information to a non-clinical audience
You are professionally qualified at the master’s level in coaching and/or in an associated behavioral health discipline (e.g. M.A in Clinical Psychology).
You have at least 7 years experience in clinical or coaching services delivery with prior supervisory and/or management experience.
You have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and/or other similar short-term interventions.
You have experience using and / or developing digital behavioral health tools.
You have experience in program writing, development, and/or evaluation.
You have knowledge related to clinical assessment measurement tools and general survey techniques.
