Job Description
Visa are looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager to support and drive our work to enable Country marketing teams to understand the impact marketing delivers to the organization. Impact across a range of agreed KPI’s including business, brand and behavioral.
The successful candidate will have a passion for solving business problems with data and ability to thread a compelling story and logic flow through the findings. To own the collation and curation of results across Europe.
The role will work alongside our research team and provide deeper analysis to some of our quantitative data including brand health tracking. The aim is to blend the insights that reside within our transactional and behavioral data with our market research findings
Success requires establishing strong business relationships across Europe where trust and transparency are critical. This is not a role for someone who is a ‘me’ person and requires a dedication to deliver for the whole marketing function. You will be one of the cornerstones in marketing’s ability to share success stories across the organization.

The team is responsible for identifying techniques and tools to be used by Visa internally but also to be activated across our clients and partners businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver marketing performance analytics across Europe, including reporting dashboards across the marketing mix, behavioural, campaign, acquisition and development and media attribution reports
Provide a timely rhythm (quarterly/ annual) for performance reports across activities where selected
Critical to build working relationships with key stakeholders across marketing and wider functions
Execute analysis projects in line with agreed methodologies to identify performance against ambitions/ KPI’s
Where required develop new methodologies to evaluate our marketing programs – ‘how to measure in a non-measurable environment’ where availability of data is limited.
Liaise with finance to ensure a correct financial and marketing view of the business is carried through the analysis projects
Integrate data sources to better understand the performance of our marketing investments
Be responsible for interrogating; transactional, industry/ sector, primary and secondary research data to deliver marketing (and business) learning and insights
Write and present key project findings to internal and external audiences
Support local markets to analyse marketing performance and inform planning
Ability to interpret results within the context of the market dynamics across Europe
To work alongside research and insights teams to identify key learnings to inform future marketing activities
Synthesise results and insights to identify marketing refinements and inform future planning
Identify how performance insights can deliver commercial improvement to Visa’s marketing activities
To be an active part of the European and Global analytics community
Support and endorse an insight-first and performance-led culture across the business, starting with marketing.
Manage external agencies where necessary in delivery of analytics projects, including budget management where required
Analytical skills & ability to work and communicate the benefits of data/Experience to extract insights and report on data using; SQL (inc Hadoop), Tableau, SAS, Microstrategy, ExcelStrong data visualisation skills and ability to work with large and disparate data setsStrong analytical capabilities including marketing performance analytics (such as regression analysis, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, SEM, MMM, Multi-touch attribution, etc.) as well as project management experienceExcellent storytelling, presentation, verbal & written communication skillsStrong problem solving, stakeholder management/ negotiation, project management capabilities and skills in communication especially knowledge managementExcellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audienceEvidence an ability to manage time effectively due to shifting priorities and deliver to fixed timescalesCore interest in; Data, Business Intelligence and Analytics industry, business levers in banking/ payments that drive revenue, lower cost, manage riskExperience of marketing and communications plans within a multi-national organization desirableExcellent communication skills and able to present confidently to senior stakeholders
