Description : An established, fast paced, multi-site Rheumatology practice with friendly doctors and staff, competitive salary and benefits is currently seeking a Patient Service Center Representative in our Phoenix Service Center to give the best possible level of customer service to our prospective, new and existing clientele.Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls for the practice in a polite and professional manner, following department Customer Service guidelinesConduct all calls with patience, empathy and understanding while using sound judgement, especially with upset callersAct as a liaison between the patient and their Care Team in clinicSchedule patients for Provider, lab, Xray and DEXA appointmentsAssist patients with general practice information such as directions, appointment confirmations, etc.Assist patient with Patient Portal enrollment and troubleshootingSend messages to Administrative Medical Assistants for medication refills, clinical questions, prior authorizations, complaints, etcEnsure all messages are sent with the appropriate level of detailFollow all department processes and procedures as trainedEnter insurance information and complete eligibility checksPlace outbound calls to patients as needed for: scheduling, rescheduling, appointment cancellations and to correct any errors made by the employeeDiscuss practice policies with patients such as No Show, Cancellation, No Dr Transfer etc.Assist with downtime tasks such as mail processing, interpreter scheduling, voicemails, answering service message and additional tasks as assignedCommunicate effectively and professionally with all internal customers such as Providers, Medical Assistants, front desk staff and Management.Participate in weekly team huddles during normal working hours and twice-yearly team meetings outside normal working hoursQualifications:EssentialRequired to reside in the Phoenix Valley1+ year of Call Center or relevant administrative experience2+ years of Customer Service experienceWritten and verbal communication skills Interpersonal skillsBasic email/Microsoft office/computer skillsRequires a space that is uninterrupted with limited background noise or distractionsDesirableCustomer service in a health care setting preferredBasic HIPAA knowledge2+ years call center experience, especially in a health care settingJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payApplication Question(s):Failure to answer will result in automatic rejection.
