This is remote position that requires 3- or 6-months full time (30-40 hours a week) commitment.Our goal is to give our interns a comprehensive overview of the deal process including generation and qualification. Opportunities may come up to get involved in deal fundraising and closing.You will collaborate closely with other interns in small teams, being responsible for executing and monitoring critical segments of our business. This will start with our front-end processes (deal sourcing) with a goal of working towards the back-end processes of deal qualification. You will be responsible for executing your tasks, monitoring their impact, and developing strategies to improve the quality of those results.Please note we DO NOT teach or require financial analysis or modeling skills, but we will test those who have the background and/or experience to be potentially involved in financial analysis/modeling assignments if available or needed.This is a 3 or 6-month full-time internship eligible for college credit with university approval.ResponsibilitiesConduct industry and company research, develop reports and present those in the team meetingsUtilize our software and database management tools (Salesforce, Infusionsoft, DB Hoovers, and Pitchbook)Screen/qualify executives for deal qualification processHelp executives develop acquisition targetsManage relationships with Private Equity GroupsAssist in developing/ presenting acquisition proposalsParticipate in deal qualification and manage campaignsCall PE firms and executive to generate opportunities in the deal originationBuild funnel of executives in the system and communicating with them via email and phone call.Work on special projects directly with the Managing DirectorAssist with the preparation and participation for the BlackmoreConnects conference with executives and capital providersRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Business or relevant field preferredUnderstanding of financial markets and business strategyStrong written and verbal communication skills (Reading, Speaking, and Writing)Works well independently and in small team settings with a high attention to detailsPunctuality, ability to meet deadlines using critical thinking and problem-solving skillsGood research skills and ability to perform industry research in a timely mannerMust have stable computer/laptop, Wi-Fi and working webcamShow strong technical proficiency and computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Management (PLUS)Experience with LinkedIn, Salesforce and/or any database management tool is a PLUSKnowledge in financial statements or experience in financial/business analysis is a PLUSFinancial Modeling skills are a PLUSJob Types: Full-time, InternshipPay: $57,205.00 – $211,358.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: Remote
