A PRU in Hammersmith is looking for a Primary trained teacher for an April or September start. The schools cater to students with SEMH. Working with students here is challenging but highly rewarding.
Your role will be working with a group of 8 students year 3/4 at age but working with a KS1 curriculum – all students in this class are academically able but individual challenges mean they aren’t where they should be grades wise.
Based in Hammersmith, the school is renowned locally for the quality of its CPD and training and therefore has the ability to take on teachers with little or no previous SEN experience as long as they display an attitude that focuses on the learning of the children and a willingness to learn. However, the ideal candidate has SEMH experience.
Extensive in-class support is offered by experienced and well-trained LSAs.
The role is full time, 5 days per week.

Ideal candidate:
Hold QTS – or a recognised teaching qualification
Has UK and SEN teaching experience
Open to learning and developing
Skilled at managing LSA/TA support
Experience writing schemes of work
