Description : QA AnalystCyndx is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) platform that offers “search and discovery” solutions for entrepreneurs, start-ups, investors, and acquirers. Our subscription-based solution helps enhance capital raising, acquisitions, and other business opportunities.We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. Responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.) The QA Analyst role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. If you have an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.ResponsibilitiesLiaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) and review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to develop and apply testing processes, both manual QA as well as creating automated testing of new features when applicablePerform rigorous regression testing of existing platform features and testing of new release features according to specifications, exploring likely user scenarios and edge casesEstimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activitiesReview release notes and maintain QA checklist with each product releaseIdentify, record, document thoroughly and track bugsPerform thorough regression testing once bugs are resolvedDevelop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needsStay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategiesAssist support team with troubleshooting issues, and escalate to dev team when neededPerform data overrides as reported by customers / internal usersTrack QA metrics as requiredProvide updates to internal teams (e.g. support) on what is being worked on, tested and deployed and assist in training internal users on relevant upcoming releasesCollaborate with engineering on customer engagement analyticsAssist with maintaining Help Center / customer resources / in-app release updates / internal release notesRequirementsAbility to write clear, concise test plans and bug ticketsAbility to communicate effectively across teams and provide comprehensive summaries of technical issues to engineering teamKnowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processesExperience in software quality assurance is a strong plusStrong knowledge of finance, experience in fintech is a plusExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plusBenefitsCompetitive SalaryHealth and dental insurancePaid vacation & Holidays.401k with matchingA beautiful new office filled with snacksA great team to work with and learn fromJob Type: Full-time
