As the SAP manager for this Global Facilities Provider you will support the organisation through an exciting period of change and transformation.
Reporting to the Director of Application Management Services you will be responsible for overseeing the Design, Build and Run aspects of the Enabling Services domain which includes Finance, HR and supply chain used across the UK and Ireland.
This is an exciting role where you’ll be able to quickly see the benefit and value add that you bring to our organisation, you’ll work with a wide range of stakeholders and technical experts and have the opportunity to collaborate at a global level.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage the SAP Technical and Functional teams to investigate and develop new solutions to address a business opportunities
Work alongside various stakeholders
Oversee business requirements and strategy through planning and completion
Define and execute regional priorities aligned to the Global and UK mission, vision, strategy, roadmap, and budget
Drive regional IS&T activities and ensure they are delivered on time
Ensure high quality delivery in a cost-effective manner within budget
Liaise with the transversal functions to ensure alignment of IS&T activities to business needs, and the demand management process
Promote and develop a strong culture of performance management within the regional team.
Essential Experience & Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of SAP software and services including current trends
Experience in S/4 HANA implementation, support and rollout; business process re-engineering / design (ASIS, TO-BE) with focus on process improvement
Strong supplier relationship management skills & experience, including planning and delivering continual improvement
Ability to lead and operate in a matrix reporting environment, particularly across geographic boundaries where appreciation of cultural differences is important
Line Management / Leadership experience
Experience in managing offshore and outsourced support vendors
Demonstrable experience of building productive relationships with stakeholders
Evidence of working with different disciplines (Finance, IT, Business & Operations, External Vendors)
Strong influence skills across multiple stakeholder agencies to drive decision making
UK government Vetting required to SC level
No fixed location but expected to travel to Salford on regular basis. Travel expenses are covered.
