We are a growing company and are excited to invite caring, detailed, and patient-centric Scheduling Coordinators to join our clinical teams. The Scheduling Coordinator will work closely with our clinical teams to begin the care process for our patients.
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for prospective patients. An ideal candidate is self-directed, patient-focused, and an effective problem-solver who listens to, understands, communicates with, and cares about patients.
Our Scheduling Coordinators are on the phone with patients throughout the day. They know how to build relationships by asking thoughtful questions and utilizing effective listening skills. Strong interpersonal, computer, and communication skills are needed. This position requires confidentiality, discretion, and exceptional customer service.
Duties/Responsibilities:Navigating different health care systems to assess patient eligibility and needs.Scheduling patients to speak with a healthcare professional.Maintaining the healthcare professionals’ schedules and filling any gaps or openingsVerifying insurance copays and relaying to patient if there is a copay.
Job Type: Full-time, 9-5:30pm EST, M-F
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina* or Austin, Texas*Position is remote but requires you to live within driving distance of these metropolitan areas.

Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent telephone and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareAbility to multitask.Strictly adheres to HIPAA compliance.
Preferred Skills/AbilitiesMedical background with a strong knowledge of medical terminologyMinimum of 1-year medical office scheduling experience, preferably within the last 3 yearsMinimum of 1-year Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system experience preferably within the last 3 years
Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must have a quiet secure at home-work environment where patient data is protected.Must have a strong password protected WIFI connection.
