Description : SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and merchant of roofing and exterior products.We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Executive to support the Head of Product Marketing in designing, developing and implementing robust and measurable product marketing communications and campaigns to generate exposure, deliver propositions and drive a sustained transactional journey with our customer base through constant visibility within the business and branch network.What does the role involve?As a Senior Marketing Executive, you will help to deliver the product marketing strategy in line with the overall marketing plan and business objectives. By creating and implementing product marketing activities for SIG UK, you will help to grow profitable sales in line with category objectives and sales goals. Working closely with our key suppliers, you’ll design and deliver marketing campaigns that support our supplier growth plans.The successful role holder will plan and deliver marketing campaigns to support sales initiatives, informing and attracting customers. You’ll develop, manage and implement marketing activities for SIG Own Label brands, working with Learning & Development to inform and train our customers and our staff.You’ll strive to deliver exceptional customer service and meet customers’ expectations, whilst consulting with key stakeholders to shape ideas and initiatives in line with business objectives, communicating regularly with the branch network to understand and improve engagement with campaigns.You will be based from either Adsetts House in Sheffield or St Ives, Cambridgeshire.The successful candidate will require:· Product Marketing experience, ideally within the construction materials industry or similar· An understanding of business strategy with the ability to translate this into meaningful actions and results· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the credibility to influence key stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally· The ability to look after our suppliers· Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, with excellent copywriting abilities and strong project management skills· The ability to work as part of a team but a confident self-starter with exceptional attention to detail· Flexibility, adaptability and receptive to new ideas with excellent time management and organisational skillsIn return we offer: · Competitive salary with annual pay award and staff recognition schemes· Great work life balance, with sociable working hours· 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
