Description : Do you have an interest in Software Development and want to work for a successful, friendly company? Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their busy team based in Callington. If the answer is yes, then this job may be for you!
The successful Software Developer would develop and implement new software applications, as well as helping to maintain and configure local databases. Our client is looking for an organised individual, someone who is a team player, and who has an analytical approach to any work they do. As the Software Developer you will maintain and improve the performance of existing software, design and update software databases and recommend and research improvements to existing software as necessary.
As a Software Developer you will be:
Testing and maintaining software products to ensure maximised functionality and optimisation.
Creating and maintaining accurate logs for tasks carried out and planned to software or related IT systems
Maintaining and liaising with third party software systems and service providers.
Other administrative tasks maybe required as part of role.
What is needed for you to be the Software Developer?
Experience in software development or programming using Visual Studio C#.
Understanding and experience of .NET frameworks.
Experience in the use of Dev Express tools would be advantageous
Database development using MS SQL Server and T-SQL experience is required,
Understanding of source control systems and software deployment systems such as GitHub.
Experience with networks and multi-user environments.
Knowledge of full life-cycle software development from design to release.
Experience with GUI design and software/user interaction, graphical design and layouts.
25 days of annual leave + bank holidays.

A starting salary of £30,000 upwards, which is negotiable depending on experience.
This is a full-time position with working hours from 08:30-17:00 Mon-Fri.
