Responsibilities
As a front-end engineer, you will be an integral part of our tight-knit group of dedicated problem solvers. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly make an impact on the web team and work with the larger Flipgrid team to deliver an innovative and meaningful learning experience to millions of students and educators.
Primary Responsibilities
Deliver web experiences that are highly crafted and rewarding to the Flipgrid community.
Collaborate with web, design, and product teams to ensure the goals of the product are aligned with the delivered feature or service.
Continued ability to deliver experiences that are user-focused and adhere to accessibility standards.
Work with the product development team in driving innovative approaches to solving complex problems.
Qualifications
Experience with front-end web technologies (HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS).
Ability to debug and troubleshoot JavaScript and UI/CSS issues.
Bonus Credit for:
Experience using front-end JavaScript Frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
Experience interacting with REST APIs.
Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
Capable of building accessible applications that follow WCAG and ADA specifications.
Familiarity developing within the React ecosystem.
Experience building multimedia experiences using WebRTC.
Familiarity with using or building CI and CD pipelines.
