Have you got what it takes?About the jobYour main job role will include replenishing fresh, frozen and ambient goods. Additionally, you will be picking customer orders from the shop and warehouse areas which also include fresh, frozen and ambient goods.This is a fast paced working environment and you will need to learn the product range to be productive in picking the goods.Additional duties include:To assist the Stock Controller in any areas which you will be trained in and when requiredCleanliness, layout and presentation of the warehouse, freezers and outside areasTo mark up and put away all stock into locations.To pick all frozen and ambient deliveries.Undertake any other tasks as deemed appropriate that may be initiated by a member of the management team.To continue personal development and gain knowledge of all aspects of the business.Assisting customers with queries.Keeping the shop floor and warehouse areas clean and tidy.Replenishing stock levels in the shop floor and warehouse ambient and freezersEnsuring all chill chain and frozen food temperature regulations are followed.Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.Cover other areas of the business as required (following any further training needed).About you – (please do not apply if this does not describe you)You will need to:- have a drive to get things done quickly and efficiently- want to learn new skills- be happy working across departments- have an outgoing personality- be happy to be flexible in your working shifts and patterns as required by the business, including working weekends.- be looking for continuous work for at least 12 months- Only accepting applications with a CV.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent.Salary: from £9.16 per hourJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: From £9.16 per hourCOVID-19 considerations:Wing Yip have undertaken various measures, such as social distancing at checkouts, hand sanitiser stations, mandatory facemasks (provided by Wing Yip) and limiting the number of customers in store, in order to keep our staff safe from Covid-19.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: £9.16-£10.00 per hour
