Description : Our 14+ Team is looking to recruit a Support Worker (Mediation) to provide early intervention and support as part of a plan for individual children and young people.
Specifically this post holder will:
Complete assessments and produce high quality delivery plans. Provide confident and competent understanding of thresholds ensuring that decisions made in relation to the child or young person are robust and safe
Ensure that the voice of the child/children is known, understood and informs the planning and work undertaken
Promote effective working between professionals and families
Work with the whole family addressing the needs of each member
Essential requirements of the role are possession of 5 GCSE’s (A-C including English & Maths), NVQ Level 3 in Health/Childcare or equivalent, proven experience of working with children and their families, knowledge of available support services, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to promoting positive outcomes for service users.
Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The postholder will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.
