As a Technical PreSales Manager, you will be responsible for harmonizing the company’s product, operations, technical and commercial departments and translate these into solid business propositions.
What you will do
Interact with clients’ various stakeholders to interpret and evaluate business requirements and propose technology solutions
Transform business requirements into consistent technical flows into agreed timeframes
Understand business models and translate them into either platform configuration or specification for new implementation(s)
Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
Identify the need/opportunity for new platform features and functionality and bring it to the attention of product management.
Preparing Business Cases and related Service Descriptions
Coordinating and aligning with product, technical, commercial, finance and legal to prepare winning RFP/RFQ/Tenders responses
Participating in sales meetings and occasionally pitching at the CXO level
Proactively scoping the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assessing customers met and unmet needs, and recommending solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company
Securing input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the client
Adapting solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support
What you will bring
Proven track record of 5 years’ experience in similar role, working for FinTech, Telecom/Technology or Bank’s sector
BSc and MA/MSc in Business, Science, Engineering or Marketing
Experience in project management techniques
Experience in software development processes, and source control and issue tracking systems
Familiarity with web services, SQL and networking
Fluency in English, second language would be an added advantage
Ability to develop effective working relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with commercial departments such as sales, operations and product development
Previous experience of requirements’ gathering, design and solution building and the ability to replicate this in a commercial setting
