We are focused on supporting the energy transition through our work in the oil and gas, renewable energy, general industrial and marine industries worldwide.We are recruiting for a Test & Flush Technician to be based onshore from our Glasgow operations to plan and conduct accurate and efficient testing and flushing of a variety of hoses and engineered systems which contain primarily hydraulic and gas components. In the role, you will assist in the achievement of our corporate goal, to provide 100% customer satisfaction by delivering high quality solutions on time. It is expected that you will work independently and will frequently interact with customers to perform witness testing.Candidates should possess experience in the operation of pressure-testing and flushing equipment and have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Hydraulic Assembly experience would be desirable but this is not essential.Essential Qualifications/Experience/CompetenciesExperience in the operation of pressure testing and flushing equipment.The ability to read and understand engineering drawingsThe ability to work to strict standards and proceduresAbility to demonstrate a flexible approach to workAbility to function effectively within a team environmentEffective communication skillsGood attention to detailExcellent awareness of QMS/HSE ProceduresDesirable Qualifications/Experience/CompetenciesSwagelok & A-Lok certificateHydraulic Assembly experienceDuties include but are not limited to:HEALTH, SAFETY, QUALITY & ENVIRONMENTAL Ensure that work is produced and delivered in conjunction with the company’s Quality procedures, BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and Customer specificationsEnsure that work activities are executed in accordance with the Company’s HSE Management System and where applicable the customer’s site rules.Take all the necessary actions to reduce risks in the workplaceDeal effectively with incidents that occur in the workplaceEnsure work areas are maintained clean and hazard freeEnsure that risks are assessed and risk assessments completed where applicableEnsure that all equipment associated with the Workshop is regularly inspected and maintained.
