An Unreal Engine Generalist / Unreal Developer / Technical Artist is needed to join a world-leading provider of real-time graphics for major sports events and broadcasters around the world. Utilising your excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine expect an exciting role creating data-driven 3D graphics within live television productions.
Boasting clients such as the BBC, ITV, Sky, Fox, Star and ESPN as well as World Cups in Football, Rugby, Cricket, this world leader, specialises in capturing, processing, and visualising live sports data using innovative, attractive and informative on-screen graphics and augmented reality. They are now seeking an Unreal Engine Generalist / Unreal Developer / Technical Artist to join them in their passion to push the boundaries of what has previously been seen in virtual TV studios.
Joining as the Unreal Engine Generalist / Unreal Developer / Technical Artist you will work with clients and colleagues to design, revise and build data driven 3D information graphics in Unreal Engine. Whether you are creating and editing all 2D and 3D content as required (geometries, textures, materials), working extensively with Blueprints to create and add complex functionality, conducting general optimisations for real-time performance balanced with visual quality or staying up to date on relevant tools and technologies, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding results.

To qualify… You could be an Unreal Engine Generalist / Unreal Developer / Technical Artist /Unreal Engine Developer / Unreal Engine Artist / Unreal Artist or similar with a CV and showreel that demonstrates:
Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine and experience in a similar role.
Advanced skills in Blueprints.
Intermediate or above skills in the following: UMG, Modelling, UV Unwrapping, Animation / Sequencer, Materials / Shaders.
Basic or above skills in Scripting and/or programming experience.
The ability to review workflows and identify areas that could be improved with engine features, scripts, or automated systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to talk to team members from all disciplines clearly and concisely.
The role will be based in Hemel Hempstead with a split of remote, office and on-site with client working.
