Description : We are seeking reliable and flexible PART-TIME Contractors to assist with Covid-19 Test Collection, to support businesses in the smooth running of their Covid-19 testing programs. You will be responsible for efficiently obtaining self administered saliva samples from employees for the purpose of laboratory testing. In this role, you will be required to conduct routine self administered saliva collections from employees.
The role will involve supervising employees as they self-administer Covid-19 tests and providing support and guidance where needed. You will complete a wide range of general daily tasks related to Covid-19 testing including handing out and collecting self-testing kits, recording results on a computer, cleaning the test site, as well as ensuring that the testing site is well set up and running efficiently.
Each business is run differently, so flexibility, reliability and being able to calmly think on your feet within a team environment are crucial. The role will also involve being responsible for the disposal of medical and biohazard waste. Training and PPE will be provided.
Oversee the PCR Saliva sample is collected correctly.
Facilitate the collection, processing, and delivery of specimens.
Follow departmental policies to correctly identify the patient before any specimen is obtained.
Properly label and document the specimens.
Demonstrate customer service and compassion when interacting with patients, physicians, and clinic staff.
Communicate with, understand, and react effectively to a diverse patient population base.
Follow Universal Precautions and all OSHA standards when handling specimens.
Strictly adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Maintain neat, clean, orderly patient/work areas at all times

1 – 3-hour shifts; specific times may vary per location. Expected Compensation:
$15 – $20/hour
