The Provider Network Development Specialist establishes and maintains positive and productive relationships with network providers and contracts with non-network providers to grow coverage to provide in-network services for customers. Previous Workers’ Compensation experience strongly preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field strongly preferred. At least two (2) years of HME/DME experience strongly preferred.HomeCare Connect is excited to implement a hybrid work schedule for this role, providing work in the office 2-3 days per week and remote work 2-3 days per week.

Essential Duties:
Respond to inquiries from providers regarding contractual questions or inquiries accurately and in a timely manner. Document contracting activity as instructed by management.
Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements, services resolutions, and provider recruitment. Work closely with management to identify, recruit, negotiate, and contract new high quality providers to fill network gaps for ancillary services. Assist in procuring out of network providers when needed, and strive to contract with providers following the one-time orders.
Prepare completed applications, credentialing, and contract documents for counter execution.
Job Requirements:
Education/Training: Some college credit and/or experience in a related discipline.
Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience working with Provider Relations (e.g., healthcare, DME, insurance, physician practice).
Skills: Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; Proficient in reading, grammar, and mathematics. Knowledgeable of project management. Strong negotiation skills. Claims experience. Demonstrate positive influence. Knowledgeable of medical terminology, medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS), Workers’ Comp Fee Schedules, and reimbursement regulations. Strong computer skills (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, proprietary software for which training will be provided); Accuracy and efficiency required. Excellent organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, and critical thinking skills. Strong attention to detail.
Located in the Orlando, Florida area, we serve clients nationally with a comprehensive range of home health care services, durable medical equipment and medical supplies. We have a clinically driven model ranging from our 17,000+ credentialed provider network to our highly experienced clinical staff who coordinate everything related to care, medical supplies and equipment delivered in the home.
