Position Summary
The Nespresso Learning & Development Team are recruiting for an L&D Specialist to join them. In this fantastic role you will be an ambassador for Learning & Development within Nespresso, creating and delivering a wide variety of development content. As an individual you will be an advocate for contributing to a thriving learning culture, passionate about developing people, with a strong background in creating, delivering and evaluating learning solutions.

A day in the life of…
As an L&D Specialist at Nespresso your role will include:
Needs Planning & Development
Mapping needs analysis against business requirements as well as identifying learning opportunities
Confidently engaging key stakeholders in analysis and development stage
Working with a variety of audiences – from cross functional sessions to department specific learning paths
Using a wide range of analysis and engagement techniques such as focus groups, questionnaires
Working with the Nespresso brand at the forefront of needs planning
Taking into account all learning styles, psychometric profiling and business context in brief and content creation
Thinking strategically about learning pathways and the role development plays in the Nespresso business as a whole
Content Design & Launch
Creating all tools necessary to deliver an effective and inspiring learning solution
Engaging stakeholders throughout design and launch
Creating a variety of learning solutions that best support need, such as digital, learnings, webinars, handouts
Ensuring content is suitable for the method of delivery, whether virtual or in person
Working in an agile, business focused way to adapt content if method of delivery changes
Types of Content You Will Produce
Proposals based on thorough training needs analysis, focused on management induction, psychometric profiling and transferrable skills/internal progression across all channels
Webinars, gamefication, app, powerpoints, videos, handouts, activities, train the trainer tools
What will make you successful
The successful candidate will be a well-rounded L&D Specialist who has experience of training needs analysis, content creation and curation, delivering content for management level all the way through to evaluation and recommendation. They will be confident in delivering external course content (for example psychometric profiling workshops) and will show initiative when delivering learning solutions to adapt sessions according to learning and engagement of the group. They will be able to work independently with the ability to engage a team and stakeholders. They will also have:
Experience of psychometric profiling (Insights, DiSC etc)
A good understanding of Adobe Suite software relevant (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro)
Working knowledge of learning models – Honey & Mumford, VAK, Kirkpatrick and effectively able to utilise in all areas of learning cycle
Experience of working to deadlines that include contributions from multiple stakeholders within a project
The desire to continually improve professional L&D knowledge to ensure strong context and understanding when delivering content
