The Developer’s objectives are to develop cross-platform apps and progress web apps and to build user-friendly cross-platform mobile applications that integrate with various state systems.ResponsibilitiesWork independently or as part of a small team to build mobile and progressive web applications.Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.Implement pixel perfect UI’s that match designs.Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.Integrate third-party API’s.Write unit and integration tests.Release applications to IOS and Google Play stores.Work with native modules when required.Work as part of a small team.Participate in Sprint planning meetings, provide estimate and participate in daily standups.Other duties as assigned.EducationBachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field OR relevant work experience in place of this educational requirement.QualificationsAt least 5 years of Software Development experienceAt least 3 years of experience developing applications using React-NativeA proven and successful history, developing elegant and scalable codeExperience integrating native API’sHistory of writing well documented, clean JavaScript codeKnowledge and experience with REST and GraphQL API’sExperience with ReduxExperience with Expo is a plusFamiliarity with App Store & Play Store (submission process, rules, general knowledge)Awareness of how different platforms/devices can impact codeConfidence with Git versioning practicesExperience testing API and database levels of a product or applicationJob HighlightsSalary Range: $100,000 – $110,000, ExemptPosition End Date:   7/31/2022 Position Type:   Limited Term PositionFull Suite of Benefits Offered Remote/Hybrid/Onsite:   RemoteNotice to Applicants:The CDC Foundation requires all employees to be fully vaccinated* for COVID-19 as a condition of employment effective November 22, 2021.
