Position Summary
The Digital Creative Director will lead the digital design arm of Under Armour’s omni-channel experience. This role will drive the brand’s digital creative direction, partnering with internal and external teams to execute on the omni-channel vision. The Digital Creative Director will report into and work closely with the Sr CD, Omni-Channel to evolve strategy, design, and guidelines for all digital branded programs across UA.com, UA mobile app and MapMyRun/UA NEXT Digital Products. This role will partner with UX creative leaders to drive an engaging digital experience and be the key stakeholder connecting digital creative across the UA ecosystem. The Digital Creative Director partners closely with creative teams and channel partners (Marketing, Merchandising, Digital Product, Retail, Development and Project Managers) to develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and advance our Brand strategy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Direct and inspire teams of art directors and designers to maximize and evolve UA’s digital experience with the best customer experience in mind.
Drive customer-centric, brand right, engaging creative and tactical application – from concept through high-quality output.
Ensure the balance of Brand stewardship and Commercial needs.
Achieve quality work that meets our goals while being distinctive in the industry.
Work with cross functional partners (Brand Creatives, Marketing, CI, CX, UX/UI) to create impactful content and experiences
Partner with UX, MapMyRun and Retail to create a UA wide digital design system.
Develop positive working relationships globally, regionally and cross-functionally
Effectively guide teams to the strongest solutions.
Mentor team members to grow and become the best creative version of themselves.
Contribute to our creative culture and continue to refine our processes.
Stay current with cultural landscapes and trends for relevancy and inspiration.
In tune with technological advancement to inform and innovate.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Digital Guru who blends art and commerce and technology
Excellent writing and communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast paced, achievement-based environment
Ability to sketch out designs by hand or computer

Education And / Or Experience
Bachelors’ Degree in Design, Art or a related field
12+ years of design experience in digital, advertising, art direction, and design.
Minimum 5 years as a proven team leader in the digital space.
Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, command of Key Note
Solid experience with User Experience design (UX, interaction design, motion design, technology, and usability).
An understanding of technology platforms (Salesforce a plus).
Experience succeeding in a fast-paced growth environment involving time-sensitive, complex projects
Omni-channel experience a plus
Ability to travel up to 25-40% (weekends included), as needed
Other Requirements
Travel as need up to 30%
