Medical Writing/Producer support is required for:
KOL Brief development (x 21)
KOL Script Development (x 13)
Review of videos for medical accuracy and approvability within Veeva (x 13)
Facilitation of KOL briefing calls (x 21)
Facilitation of KOL filming calls (13)
Copy development for Allergan Advantage Mini Articles (x 13), Mass Email and Country Implementation Guide
Veeva upload of all materials
As you can see from the above list, medical writing is just one aspect needed. Facilitating meaningful discussion with KOLs and driving great performances through filming are vital.
Responsibilities
Depending on the key skills of the selected person, responsibilities will be shared with our Senior Healthcare Writer
They were involved in the 2021 version, so can provide background and vital support on the elements of the project
Working closely with the our Senior Healthcare Writer will ensure smooth running and allow the selected person to shine
Producing high level work on-time and to budget
Presenting work to both internal and external stakeholders
Driving meetings with Key Opinion Leaders and leading the filming segments of the project
Ensuring that copy & film output matches with the client brief
Understanding the Allergan brand and product type within the pharmaceutical industry and the rules that apply
Positively collaborating with colleagues and clients
Supporting other members of the team
Communicating issues to relevant colleagues in a timely and accurate fashion

Job Requirements
A grounding in the healthcare communications industry is essentia
Extensive medical writing experience is preferred
Extensive production know-how – more on people skills contributing to great output, not the technical aspects of camera work
Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (or equivalent)
Confident in leading a meeting or directing Key Opinion Leaders (or equivalent) – applies to messaging, both written and spoken to camera
