The Role…
This is a new role and a fantastic opportunity responsible for the provision of pro-active, professional and customer focused support to the business.
Reporting to the Senior People Partner, you will need to have a passion for owning and driving process and operational improvement, a track record of handling employee relation matters and a strong focus on attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities…
Work closely with senior managers, providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of People activities to ensure a consistent and fair approach to People Management
Provide support to the business on all People related activities, including but not limited to absence management, disciplinary and grievances, probationary periods, driving positive employee relations across the business
Provide timely and relevant support and guidance to staff on People issues, as and when required, evaluate risk and escalate as required
Manage the end to end on-boarding process including induction to provide a positive people experience; supporting employee integration ensuring continual improvement in delivery methods- global reach required to ensure consistency throughout the business
Create and maintain electronic files for all employees
Manage employee data through Workday at an exceptional level and the running and analysis of ad hoc reports
Keep relevant People policies and procedures up to date with changes in law
Provide relevant People dashboard/ analytics data, analyse and identify trends to influence People team decisions and drive performance across the business
Management of employee relation cases
Provide administrative support to the director
Lead on People Projects
Driving operational excellence within the People function
Safeguard information in accordance with GDPR
Payroll Processing support (in the event the payroll processor is out of the business).
Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Experience in a similar fast paced role at an Adviser, Business Partner, or generalist
Experience in HRIS systems – preferably Workday
Experience in managing ER
Current knowledge of UK employment law
Must have the ability to handle multiple urgent priorities with maximum efficiency
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
CIPD Level 5
Desirable:
An HND, degree or postgraduate qualification in human resource management or equivalent
