Description : This is an exciting varied role, Integral to the ED team. This role is all about providing the best for patients. From transferring around the hospital departments to maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming department.
This is a new and exciting role for Grantham Accident and Emergency Department. If you feel you can fit in with a small, friendly, welcoming team you may be just the person we are looking for.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Emergency Department. We currently have a new role for accident and emergency orderly’s / support workers . The department attends the needs of approximately 80 new patients each day. Ranging from acute medicine to minor injuries. We have exciting new developments ahead within the department including the working with local GP’s to integrate wider community services and implementation of single front door.
We are in a unique position by having a very supportive local and stable senior medical team. Our medical team support nurse development and we share teaching sessions both planned and any opportunities as they arise.
We have a very high appraisal rate that aims to be at 100% . We meet all core learning targets. We are hoping to enhance core learning with in house training that is across all 3 sites. We have a resource room in the department that is utilised for junior Dr and nurse teaching and update sessions.
