Project Manager – R&D
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to organize, plan and execute new releases of our Molecular Imaging based Clinical Application products. As a Global Project Manager, you will be leading the Software Project releases to successful closure thereby timely delivering latest innovations and enhancements to address customer needs.
In a global team setup, you will work closely with the key global roles, Scrum teams, various stakeholders (both internal and external) and R&D leadership team to drive project planning, execution, tracking and closure, there by achieving project objectives.
Key expectations of the role
Manage projects with full responsibility for Project results in the context of R&D
Actively collaborate with stakeholders (local, global, external) to drive project releases successfully
Execute projects with given constraints to achieve defined project objectives (scope, schedule, quality etc.)
Ensure business success and customer satisfaction through professional stakeholder management
Ensure timely decisions about open issues, escalate if necessary
Ensure compliance to defined process, regulatory standards and internal guidelines
Actively perform risk and opportunity management
Support with budget and resource planning at portfolio level working closely with R&D leadership team and other project managers
Align project targets with R&D strategy
Drive continuous improvement culture e.g. knowledge management, lessons learned, collaboration, higher efficiency etc.
Drive required project documentation adhering to the process standards
Working closely with other project managers, drive speed and agility for R&D projects while steadily increasing value delivery from the R&D team.
What are we looking for?
Extensive experience working with enterprise software development, preferably in Product Line Engineering
Solid Project Management experience leading software projects releases of different scale and impact, preferably at global level
Having through understanding and strong working experience with Agile Project Management, V-Model, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and typical Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process
Having deep understanding of typical challenges related to Product definition, Software design & development, Software Testing, DevOps, Team Management etc.
Impeccable presentation skills, compelling oral and written communication skills
Ability to analyze complex problems and arrive at workable solutions in collaborative manner, strong negotiation skills
Established Leadership skills, self-driven, quality and result oriented, having strong attention to details
Any reputed project management certification is preferred
