We are currently looking to recruit a Major Account Manager for the North East Region, who will be responsible for several accounts across the region and revenue responsibility.
What does the role involve?
As Major Account Manager, you will provide a solution-based sales approach to the region’s largest customers that include Roofing & Cladding contractors, Regional/National Housebuilders and Merchants. You will be expected to develop a plan for each one, maximising the SIG opportunity through cross selling and securing margin uplift through selling the SIG value proposition as it relates to your customers and prospects.
The successful candidate will require:
Proven B2B experience in sales in a similar senior sales role in the Construction industry and proven ability to sell across a full range of construction productsDemonstrable stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external customersExperience developing strategies to enable business to growDrive, capability and confidence in meetings, presentations and calls to key customers and be able to demonstrate forward and creative thinking in driving sales.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM desirableStrong Microsoft office and IT skills
