Associate Director Marketing, Migraine (GLOBAL)
Based in our Marlow offices with up to 20% travel

The role:
Reporting to the Global Brand Lead for Therapeutics, the Associate Director Marketing will assume marketing leadership for this disease area. Role responsibilities include leading the strategic planning process, cross functional activities and area/affiliate execution. All aspects require team work as well as day-to-day autonomy. This is a high-profile role within the Global Marketing and Commercial Operations Specialty Care Business Unit.
Highlighted responsibilities:
Development of the Global Strategy
Lead the development of the annual strategic brand plan for the brand
Work closely with the migraine lead to ensure alignment on key assumptions and insights in the strategic plan
Collaborate with cross functions to inform cross functional plans and drive alignment to core strategy e.g., Medical Affairs, R&D, Publication Planning Group, Market Access
Leading the development and execution of Global Marketing Campaign
Develop/evolve the chronic migraine marketing campaign to drive commercial strategy
Create a series of campaign assets for roll out to countries e.g., Digital Sales Aids, Emails, and other digital assets, Briefing Documents, Training Guides, Objection Handlers
Manage creative and medical communication agencies
Direct support of Area & Affiliates
Collaborate with affiliates to ensure local plans support strategic vision; Support/challenge as appropriate
Spend time in country to meet KOLs and gain customer and country feedback
Qualifications
Experience & desired behaviors:
Must have proven marketing management success within the pharmaceutical sector
Essential experience in speciality (hospital) medicines
Prior field-based experience as a pharmaceutical representative is essential. Sales management experience is preferable.
Prior global marketing experience is preferable but not essential
Post Graduate Qualification Desirable
Must have strong leadership and communication skills, experience of working across the marketing mix (including traditional and digital), experience of leading cross functional brand teams and experience of cross-cultural collaboration
