A safe, secure and hygienic environment for customers, staff and visitors to be maintained2. All equipment to be operated in line with trained instructions3. Equipment and premises to be maintained in a clean, working condition4. Personal protective equipment to be worn / used in line with company guidelines5. To participate fully in reviews and meetings6. Positive working relationships to be established and maintained with colleagues throughout the hotel7. Company Handbook to be abided by, and employees to be aware of any changes made8. Commitment to be displayed to training through participation, and sign off of training records, and application of learning in the workplace9. Full compliance and commitment to Core standards10. Any other reasonable request made by a manager of the company.JOB SPECIFICACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Responsible for helping to maintain a customer-focused culture that supports the values expressed in the company mission statement and the company business goals of profitability and food quality.2. Supporting the head chef in defining and documenting job descriptions and managing the Human Resource aspect of the kitchen in line with company standards.3. Responsible for the maintaining of maintenance, cleanliness and appearance of the kitchen and back of house.4. Maintains and inspires complete knowledge of food menus and trends.5. Responsible for delivering the product in accordance with core standards by exceeding the internal/external customer’s expectations.6. To manage stock ordering to ensure maximum profit with minimum wasteKEY MEASURES: ·Food stock control, including wastage, stock reduction, rotation of stock, gross profitability to achieve budgeted target.·Employee Engagement Survey results for Kitchen Team.·Control of other expenses in line with budgeted targets.·Retention of personnel·Staff training and development:Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £10.50 per hourAdditional pay:TipsBenefits:Discounted or free foodOn-site parkingSchedule:Weekend availability
