Description : We are seeking an eLearning Designer at an entry level to create multimedia for eLearning courses; including screen layouts, visuals both photographs and illustrations, videos, PDFs and infographics and author courses in Lectora. The role includes collaboration with other project team members to deliver the client’s vision.
Compliance Learning offers off the shelf online courses that are ready for immediate use, accessible via multiple platforms from anywhere at any time. The courses cover risk and regulatory compliance training and are updated in response to the latest regulatory and legislative changes. Our courses help organisations build a culture of compliance at the workplace.
About the Role
Your role as eLearning Designer will require strong design software skills, along with the ability to visualize and produce graphics for eLearning courses. Working in a supportive global team of highly experienced colleagues, you will deal with a breadth of interesting design work including:
Creating eLearning assets, such as, icons, illustration of characters (e-learning mascots), animations, videos with text and image transitions, infographics
Editing photos to create creative backgrounds
Authoring courses using Lectora
Understanding client needs and goals in order to create graphical prototypes for review with support from instruction designers
Reading storyboards and notes provided by instructional designers to visualize concepts independently
Working as per given style guides and client design standards
Working to a plan to deliver eLearning courses with minimal defects
Authoring courses in Lectora or other industry leading authoring tools
Collaborating with instructional designers and other stakeholders to deliver eLearning courses
About You
You’re a fit for the role of eLearning Designer if you have:
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in design or related field
A strong online design portfolio that demonstrates creativity and experience with eLearning and graphic design
1+ years of experience as designer in the eLearning business
Knowledge of industry relevant design tools; Lectora, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Articulate
Knowledge/experience on UX/UI design and accessibility is a plus
Knowledge of Learning management systems
Awareness of technical standards for eLearning software products, such as, AICC, SCORM
