University Hospital Ayr, Building for Better Care Project has redesigned the existing front door services, the result of this is a 21st Century – State of the art development comprising of ambulatory/clinical pathway bays, initial assessment bays, rapid assessment cubicles, clinic rooms and a complement of 29 single bedrooms including four Medical High Care beds. This services aims to change the model of care at the front door – from ‘admit to assess’ to ‘assess for admission’.
As a Band 2 Nursing Assistant in the Combined Assessment Unit you should be motivated and enthusiastic to join a new team in delivery of exemplary patient care. You must have a genuine interest in joining a fast paced environment and be dedicated to person centered care. Experience in fundamentals of care essential. The CAU will offer you a career long supported learning programme based around a robust competence framework.
You should be motivated, with the wish to offer our patients the best experience possible whilst in our department.
This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity until December 2022.
