If you believe you have what it takes to join the Knightingles team, we would like to hear from you.Knightingles is recruiting Care Workers to come to work in the UK on a Skilled Worker Visa.The role is to provide care and support to our various service users. Full training, induction, and support will be provided prior to the commencement of work.Summary of duties: Demonstrating exemplary practice and supporting junior staff within the organisation.Actively participating and taking the lead in the delivery of care and support services to clients, ensuring their physical, social, intellectual, and emotional needs are met whilst also ensuring their dignity, choice, independence, and respect is maintained.Taking responsibility for the staff Rota system and ensuring all service user calls are attended to.Taking responsibility, together with the team for continual monitoring of each service user’s health needs by ensuring access to NHS healthcare services and monitoring health-related care documentation assessments where necessary.Ensuring appropriate liaison with service users, their relatives, the deputy/manager, and other relevant staff.Ensuring appropriate risk management involving all parties and ensuring accurate record keeping.Encouraging service users to be involved in their own care, welcoming their participation in activities to keep them emotionally and intellectually stimulated.Assisting as required with service users’ social functions.Supporting and working closely with families and friends, offering them professional and emotional support, being sensitive to individual needs.Administering prescribed medication to service users and assisting in the management of an effective system for the safe control and administration of medication in accordance with policy and procedures.Modelling the provision of person-centred care in accordance with legislative requirements and policy & procedures.Promoting health and safety.Supporting independence and autonomy.Ensuring safeguards are in place and reporting concerns to the care manager.Skills, experience, and qualifications required: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a health or care setting delivering support to children, young people, or older adults.Formal training or qualifications in health, care, and related fields from an accredited or recognised body equivalent to, or superseding UK Level 3 Vocational Qualifications.Candidates with formal qualifications outside health, care and related fields must demonstrate transferability of their skills via their work experience and commit to completing NVQ Level 3 qualification within 12 months of commencing work and registration.Fluent written and spoken English.Ability to build rapport with clients showing genuine care and empathy.Ability to work autonomously, showing initiative and demonstrating problem solving skills.Excellent time keeping skills.Steps:1) Download the following formsApplication Form (Doc. 1)Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form (Doc. 2)Medical Questionnaire (Doc. 3)Details Form (Doc. 4)DBS Form (Doc. 5)BCG Scar Declaration Form (Doc. 6)2) Send completed forms via email to hr@knightingleshealthcare.com* or upload below.*Upload (Doc. 1)*Upload (Doc. 2)*Upload (Doc. 3)*Upload (Doc. 4)*Upload (Doc. 5)*Upload (Doc. 6)*Email*First Name*Last Name*Additional informationJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £20,950.00 per year
